KeiserWrites! is Keiser University’s Writing Program, an effort to promote better writing skills for our students. All Keiser University students have access to the Writing Program regardless of
geography, delivery method, or degree level.
Graduate students can access the Graduate Online Writing Studio on the Keiser Writes homepage. The Writing Studio provides a range of services including assignment consultations, video tutorials, APA guidance, and much more.
Keiser students studying online are automatically enrolled in the OWL—Online Writing Lab—in addition to their content course. The OWL accepts submissions and does its best to provide feedback to students within 24 hours. Feedback is aimed at helping students grow as writers while they work toward their degree.
Keiser University is proud to say that each of our 17 Florida campuses is outfitted with a Writing Studio. The Writing Studio is a place on campus where students can work on their manuscripts before or after class. All Writing Studios have computers, a printer, space for groups to collaborate, and resources developed to answer the most frequent questions students ask about writing assignments. Each Writing Studio is staffed by a full-time Writing Studio Coordinator who is dedicated to assisting students through one-on-one consultations, small-group consultations, and workshops. Call or visit your campus to get specific hours of operation.
Please read through our Frequently Asked Questions if you have never had a writing consultation: It is important to understand that the Writing Program does not act as a proofreading and editing service, nor do we guarantee that you will get an A on your paper. Our focus is not on your paper, but on you. We want you to develop the skills necessary to be your own writing consultant in the future. It is important to have the proper expectations in order to get the most out of this valuable service.
